Football Queensland South West & Toowoomba Football Leagues would like to formally announce that our operational office has now relocated to a new venue.
Our office has been located at 57 Brook Street, North Toowoomba for the past four years, and we would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Richard & Mandy Adams for their support during this lease period.
Recently we were contacted about an opportunity to relocate into the heart of Toowoomba CBD at the Walton Stores precinct at 486 Ruthven St. FQSW Chairman Nigel Fanning stated that this strategic alignment has provided surety to our organization through the provision of our new CBD office location in return for our biggest Sponsorship deal in our history stretching over the next 3 years.
Walton Stores has made a significant and bold investment in football and we are delighted that such a high profile establishment decided that our brand, and the football family are the right fit for their food and entertainment Precinct.
The deal in effect has ensured our financial viability during a period of significant disruption caused by the global pandemic and we are grateful that the Walton Stores has chosen to invest their trust in our community organization during this increasingly uncertain period of time.
Community organizations’ such as Football are critical to the livability of our community and it clear that without the generosity of the Walton Stores, we may never have survived this crisis if the impact had been deeper than we are currently experiencing.
An official opening date has been delayed due to the current restrictions, but as time progresses & when government restrictions are reduced, we look forward to a special grand opening for all our returning players, parents and officials.
Football Queensland (FQ) has commenced its search to unearth the state’s next FIFA 20 superstar with today’s launch of the first ever Football Queensland E-Series.
Expressions of interest for Round 1 of the Active Community Infrastructure initiative will close next Friday, 6 December.

Toowoomba Football Leagues are currently organizing the Toowoomba Takatsuki Soccer Exchange Program for 2020.
As many of you may not be aware this is a long standing program set up between both sister cities coordinated through both City Councils and is held on a biannual basis.
In 2018 we hosted Takatsuki in Toowoomba, in 2020 we travel over to Japan from 16-25 September.
We are now calling for Expressions of Interest from Coaches who are interested in taking a U12 team to Japan.
Attached is a letter to Coaches, if anyone is interested in applying please send your EOI into email@example.com by the closing date.
We will then hold trials for players to select this U12 team. We select players now to allow them enough time to fundraise for the cost of this trip.
We are therefore calling for players born 2008, U11 this year to nominate to trial for this team. We will hold trials on Wednesdays 4th and 11th September.
All players that register will be sent info on times and venue.
All relevant information is in the attached Flyer, please click on the nominated link on the flyer to register your interest to trial.
We will be holding a information session prior to the first trial, so if parents are not sure, we ask you to register their child, then come along for a Q&A prior to trials.
