FQSW Regional Development Officer David Nugent, attended a community activity “Megasports program at Laidley Soccer Club, collaborating with another community based non for profit organisation ALARA.
ALARA provides a broad range of innovative and responsive services for people with a disability and their families. They provide services in the Ipswich, Somerset and Lockyer regions of Queensland.

Play sport – with the local sports team, ALARA Jets Touch Football team, ALARA Darts Team or the ALARA Megasports program
It was a wonderful Saturday morning spent working with the Laidley soccer community and representatives from Qld church soccer ass, to give the kids a footballing experience they enjoyed.
We had 3 skills stations – (passing and controlling, shooting and juggling) plus a game at the end.

Football Queensland Ltd for supplying the “Aldi Miniroos” inflatable shooting target marque. The Laidley soccer club and the volunteers from ALARA who supported the kids, so they could enjoy / experience football.
